AA had a relatively easy bracket. Etihad, while certainly a superior product than AA, has far fewer loyal followers (certainly in the US) than AA.
LH, their next competitor, has a much broader audience than Etihad, and will probably knock them out.
Competition heating up. Shocked to see American in there, much like I would be to see the USA in the world cup final eight. Upsets happen and the world loves an underdog. But do they really love AA?
