National Car Rental is running a new promotion where you can earn a free rental certificate for every two qualifying rentals between August 22nd, 2011 and January 31st, 2012. It is called the “1,2 Free” promotion. You must be a member of the Emerald Club to participate – you can register at this link if you aren’t a member. I signed up for this promo as soon as it was offered (3 rentals so far!). My flights usually arrive in the middle of the night, and I found that I can joke around and empathize about long hours and off-shifts with the folks at the National Counter moreso than the other big chains.
My GF and I are planning a trip to Oregon for me to meet, for the first time, her extended family, right before the Holidays. Regardless of this drawing, we are using our free National Rental days to get us around Oregon.
