Kauai Photo Tours
My wife decided to do a little different activity than normal and booked a photo tour with Kauai Photo Tours. The Kauai Photo Tour was a 5 1/2 hour tour that included several scenic locations for taking pictures. She felt that it was the perfect mix of driving and hiking and wasn’t too strenuous yet produced some great pictures.
The tour guide was very informative about the scenery and the area without being boastful.
Captain Andy’s Sailing Adventures Sunset Cruise
After doing extensive research on different cruise options, we settled on Captain Andy’s Sunset Cruise based on strong positive Yelp reviews. We arrived for check in by coast in a very expansive parking lot. We went inside and were handed our tickets and instructions on boarding the boat.
The boat was beautiful and we were very fortunate that the water was very calm which allowed the boat to get extremely close to some of the sights on the Napali Coast.
Dinner was steak and shrimp which was cooked to perfection with cheesecake for dessert. There were plenty of beverages the entire time.
Towards the end of the cruise, the sunset came out with some picturesque views for my wife and myself.
The food was top notch, the views were fantastic and we were very fortunate that the waters were calm as we were able to get extremely close to some of the beautiful sights. This was my favorite activity that we did during our stay in Kauai.
You were lucky it was calm. After being postponed several days due to bad weather, I went out during some very rough waves for a day tour. Because they were on a schedule, and the wind was not in their favor, they motored and the boat was just pounding on the waves. In my opinion, they should have sailed, as it probably would have helped the motions. My poor 77 year old dad was puking off the back deck, as were many others. I was surprised they still went out in seas like that. It was difficult for me to get around without hurting myself, and I am used to sailing. Anyway, most beautiful views I’ve ever seen on that tour, definitely recommend and would do it again, just without my folks.
Wow that looks like so much fun!
