Wendy’s has been a very active Twitter user, often poking fun at their rivals.
For example, Wendy’s made fun of McDonalds bragging that they were going to not use frozen beef on one of their burgers.
.@McDonalds So you’ll still use frozen beef in MOST of your burgers in ALL of your restaurants? Asking for a friend.

A twitter user, Carter Wilkerson (@carterjwm) asked Wendy’s how many retweets it would take in order to get a year of free Wendy’s chicken nuggets. Wendy’s responded with “18 Million”.

Currently, Carter is up to 2 million retweets and even setup a website trying to help him get to 18 million retweets. He’s a 16 year old from Reno, Nevada.
United Airlines decided to try to help Carter and quoted his tweet. They also offered to fly him to any Wendy’s in the United States if he received his 18 Million retweets.
If you get the 18 million RTs, we'll give you a free flight to take you to any @Wendys in the world in a city we serve. Good luck! https://t.co/igxnPg1JUF

I’m rooting for Carter to get his free chicken nuggets for an entire year though some users aren’t buying United’s offer based on what happened last night.
It's a trap! https://t.co/DAUgqC8Cpw
