On a recent Delta flight, I had settled in to my seat and was pursuing the copious amounts of movies and TV shows.
I settled on a documentary of the band “Daft Punk” entitled “Daft Punk Unchained”. I had first seen Daft Punk on the MTV shows “120 Minutes / Subterranean” with their video “Da Funk” many years ago.
Who can forget the video with someone in a dog mask going around New York City with a crutch and a case on their leg? That’s not even taking about the great beat of the song.
In any case, I was getting in to the documentary. That’s when the gentleman in front of me sat down with his flowing, golden locks.
They were so flowing that it spilled over his seat and hung over my screen.
I wasn’t quite sure what to do.
I thought about just grabbing them and moving them out of the way but then that would mean touching someone else’s hair. I also considered taping him on the shoulder and asking him to move his hair but that seemed to be a rude thing to do.
Instead, I just sat there trying to ignore the voluminous hair all over my screen.
After about an hour, he eventually got up again and this time, when he sat down his hair stayed on his side.
Have you ever had an experience like this and if so, what did you do?
Is that a pro wrestler?
I think so!
Pretty simple I would politely ask him to keep his hair on his side of the seat. If I was too big of a wuss to do that directly I would simply ask the flight attendant to do it for me. Not a difficult one….
