A plane flying from Papua New Guinea to Queensland, Australia crashed after takeoff. The plane took off in Mareeba, Australia flying under radar to Port Moresby where the plane was loaded up with 500kg of Cocaine.
The plane then took off from Port Moresby but due to the overweight cargo, the plane ending up crashing in a dense forest area. Six days later, Papua New Guinea police were able to locate the wreckage along with the drug stash.
The parties responsible are said to have links to organized crime from Italy. I’m sure they’ve learned their lesson to fly with less weight in the future.
