On a whim, I went ahead and bought a ticket for the Flyertalk Chicago Seminar DO on October 16th and 17th. There are 437 registrants coming from all over the world for two days of seminars on getting better at our hobby of earning hotel points, airline miles, and rental car credits.

I’ve been a collector for some years but am starting to realize that I’m just scratching the surface when it comes to truly understanding the best way to maximize our opportunities.

It was amazing how fast it all came together online with a lot of people volunteering a lot of hours for the details. I’m really looking forward to meeting some of my fellow addicts and also learning more, but most of all it’s a chance to put a name with a face.
