@Tom, try their New Business Class (Cirrus) – way ahead of their circa-2007 herringbone long-haul Business Class seat. They’re the only airline that I know of that *constantly* updates their inflight product. Look at SQ, their ‘New Business Class’ has been unchanged since 2006 and many of the seats are worn.

Yesterday I again flew CX longhaul in C. The product is fine, but aging. The soft product was only so-so. It’s simply not of the same caliber as EK–or EY, TG, or SQ for that matter. I’ll be voting with my dollar on this one.
