Intercontinental Hotel Group rewards club points expire after 12 months without activity. There are many methods to extending the points from expiring, such as applying for a IHG credit card, but there are also other, simple ways to extend.

One of my favorite redemptions was in Camden, England at the Holiday Inn Camden Lock. It’s close to a metro station and in a vibrant part of London.
In addition, IHG is always running point break promotions where you can redeem rooms for as little as 5000 points.
