I was rushing around trying to get pick up all my toiletries to go to the airport. Usually Salt Lake City airport doesn’t have very large security lines and so I thought that it would be easy to make it in time.
As I was driving in order to get to the airport, I remembered that I had forgotten to pack toothpaste. There was a store right off of the highway so I decided to pull over and run in there.
I ran over to the aisle with all the toiletries and just grabbed the first toothpaste that I could find.
I stuffed it in my bag and got back in my car and headed to the airport. It wasn’t until I got to the hotel and opened up my bag that I realized that the toothpaste that I had grabbed was actually cinnamon toothpaste.
First of all I don’t know how in an aisle of literally 500 different types of toothpaste, I unluckily grabbed the one that was cinnamon.
Moreover – why in the world is there a cinnamon toothpaste? Is there someone that actually enjoys the taste of cinnamon while brushing their teeth?
I learned the important lesson in that it does pay to prepare in advance so you’re not in a hurry in making rash decisions like not being able to enjoy your favorite toothpaste.
You were running late and you stopped just to get toothpaste? Why not just wait until you are the hotel or at least until you arrive to get whatever it is that you forgot. I’ll bet they even sell toothpaste at the airport.
i love cinnamon, but not typos :
“~~~~Morover~~~~ – why in the world is there a cinnamon toothpaste? Is there someone that actually enjoys the taste of cinnamon while brushing their teeth?”
