The coronavirus lockdown boredom is causing some people to go to extremes for entertainment. A man broke into the Australian Museum that is currently closed for renovations. He scaled the scaffolding currently in place in order to gain access to the museum.
His self-guided museum tour started with finding an Indiana Jones like hat in the back in order to have the full experience.
Authorities who reviewed the footage first feared that he had stolen priceless artifacts. Instead, he was content to simply view the exhibits for 40 minutes. The highlight for him was taking a selfie with a gigantic T-rex.
Police are searching for a Sydney who has been caught on camera breaking into the Australian Museum, wandering around exhibits and taking selfies with dinosaur bones. https://t.co/u2udVANO0U #7NEWS pic.twitter.com/wZrhYwOy0w
