As I approached the Montage Hotel Laguna Beach there was a collection of fancy sports cars outside who’s cost is probably more than the value of my home. I’m not a car aficionado, but the folks I was with were impressed.

I had booked just a normal room and walked into the hotel and headed towards check-in.

I was greeted by the desk clerk who told me all about the expansive property. She also told me that I had been upgraded. I took the key and thanked her for the upgrade.

The most interesting part of the lobby area is the bird’s eye view of the gorgeous pool with the amazing view of the ocean.

After viewing the lobby area, I took the elevator down to the main floor, walked outside by the pool area and took a left to the building that my room was in.

I walked into the door and headed up the stairs to the 2nd floor. I opened the door, went into the hallway and saw just how massive this room was.

There is also a private beach accessed from the Montage.

This is the most luxurious hotel that I have ever stayed in. The service was top notch and the upgraded room was fabulous.

When I walked by the Loft restaurant, I saw Kobe Bryant formerly of the Los Angeles Lakers with his wife and kids.

Though an extremely pricey hotel, you won’t be disappointed by the amazing views, the attentive service, and the location. If you’re staying here, you’re probably not concerned about dining prices but there are several restaurants within walking distance.

The Montage Laguna Beach in Orange County, California is truly a marvel.
