A man in Utah released rodents in his hotel room in order to get free nights. Ryan Sentelle Slate on at least three occasions released rodents in his hotel room. The rodents would eventually deficate in the room. Slate would then complain to the hotel that he had found rodent droppings and would get his stay paid for.

Eventually his plan was discovered and he has since been charged with class B misdemeanors.
