“Clean and Safe Travels” is the tagline of the new Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Vending Machine at McCarran Airport in Las Vegas, Nevada.
With the Center for Disease Control recommending to wear a cloth face covering in public, and washing your hands often after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing – the Las Vegas Airport has installed a vending machine for travelers who perhaps have forgotten these items when traveling.
A new option to help protect yourself and others while traveling. LAS was the first airport to install PPE vending machines from which travelers can purchase items like gloves and hand sanitizer. These machines can be found in T1 ticketing and near the T3 TSA checkpoint. pic.twitter.com/1suaVel412

Prices for the items are
Hand sanitizer: $4.25-$6.50
10-pack alcohol wipes: $5.25
Tissues: $3.50
Reusable cloth mask: $14.50
3-pack disposable masks: $7.50
KN95 mask: $8.25
4 pack disposable gloves: $4.50
The CDC states “Air travel: Because of how air circulates and is filtered on airplanes, most viruses and other germs do not spread easily on flights. However, there may be a risk of getting COVID-19 on crowded flights if there are other travelers on board with COVID-19.”
I have a feeling that more vending machines like this will begin to pop up in airports around the world.
