Claim Your Share of the $725 Million Facebook Settlement Now – Claim Form Live

Facebook is paying out a $725 million settlement to anyone who had a Facebook account between May 24, 2007, and December 22, 2022, due to private information being obtained by a third-party company, Cambridge Analytica. The claim form is now live at this link.

They ask you to provide your details such as your name, address, email address, and phone number. Next, you must answer whether you were a US resident between May 24, 2007, and December 22, 2022, and if you were a Facebook user during that time. Even those who have deleted their account are eligible.

Next, you must provide at least one email address, phone number, or username associated with your Facebook account during that time.

The last part is to choose how you wish to receive your payment, whether by a prepaid Mastercard, PayPal, Venmo, Zelle, or direct deposit.

The last step is to attest that the information provided is correct.

The deadline for submitting the Claim Form is August 25, 2023. If you had a Facebook account, I would encourage you to fill out the form now. There is no indication of how much your portion of the settlement will be, but free money is good.

  1. There are about 3 billion Facebook users so figure 50% might file a claim so that is 1.5 billion so after attorney fees that might be like $1 🙂
