As Gold Members of Hilton, we were granted executive lounge access each day. This meant that we would head over there for breakfast in the morning. This was no continental breakfast; they had a full offering of omelets, bacon, potatoes, and the works.

After eating breakfast, we walked off the resort across street to the beach. We rented a chair and umbrella for 200 BAHT.

We did nothing for several hours except sit at the beach, read books, and relax. They had several covered areas for Thai massages all down the beach.

That night we asked the concierge for a recommendation on a good restaurant. They recommended Bann Rim Pa at Patong Beach. The concierge arranged for transport for us and off we went.

The weather was a bit overcast that night so Patong Beach was completed cleared out.

The restaurant overlooks Patong. This ended up being our favorite restaurant in Phuket. The service was spectacular and the prices were very reasonable. There was a great view and delicious food. I would highly recommend this restaurant for dinner.

We took a tuk-tuk to the main street of Patong to walk around. It was crazy, crowded, and very visually overloading. 1 in every 4 people was speaking Swedish or Norwegian. By this time we were pretty exhausted so we headed back to the hotel and crashed.

  1. Patong is so near to Phuket Fantasea. The show was beautiful! It’s definitely a must see when you’re in Phuket. The show is colourful, energetic, with beautiful costumes, lighting and impressive special effects. 1 hour and a half went by in a flash. We were advised to sit in the middle section of gold seating area. This was truly an impressive show. The whole Phuket FantaSea excursion was very well organized and smooth.
