Day 4 of our vacation to Thailand started with free breakfast in the Hilton lounge. We went out to the beach again but there were bad signs as there was rain coming around. We decided to not try and wait it out and went down to Karon to look at the shops.

We had lunch in Karon and then as we were walking back, saw a spa called Salidara Spa inside the Woraburi Phuket Resort and Spa. We decided to stop off as they were having a 50% off sale. We each had an hour and a half massage for very cheap. It was wonderful.

By the time, the rain had dissipated and so we headed back to the Arcadia Resort.

We had dinner poolside.

That night we decided to go to a tourist attraction, Fantasea. It’s a theme park with all kinds of animal exhibits and shows.

Some of it bordered on the absolute bizarre. Our kids probably would have really enjoyed it.

We wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. Unfortunately for us, we were so tired with jet lag that we slept through the big finale show.
